“Showing someone that you recognize how valuable they truly are.”

This was the lesson I taught in my church’s kid’s ministry, Uptown, last Sunday. It’s been on my heart since. Every month we learn a new virtue, and this month we started learning about honor.

Showing people how valuable they are.

And the truth is, EVERYONE is valuable. Because EVERYONE is made in God’s image. We are all equally beloved creations of His. So when you begin to see how He sees and love like He loves, you will honor the way He honors. That is, wholly and unbiased.

I swear I learn more from kids ministry than the kids do.
